Railway Overbridge in Lieu of LC 17, Vadapalanji–Usilampatti
A road overbridge at Km 22/2 of NH-49 Extn. (new NH-85, Madurai–Cochin road) that replaces level crossing LC 17 between Vadapalanji and Usilampatti railway stations, under the Sethubharatham project. The main span is a bow-string steel girder, 2 spans of 51.40 m.
Scope of Work & Structural Compliance
A road overbridge that removes a level crossing on the Madurai–Bodi railway line, so road and rail traffic no longer have to stop for each other.

Dedicated Machinery Fleet Mobilised
Ready-Mix Concrete Plants
8 plants (Schwing Stetter, Ajax) — 7 of CP-30 and 1 M1 plant — supplying concrete straight to site, backed by 35 transit mixers.
Hot Mix Plants
Two Apollo hot mix plants (ANP 2000 and ANP 1500) producing asphalt for our own road works.
Pavers
Three pavers (Vögele, Apollo) of 9 m and 7 m paving width, with vibratory and tandem rollers to follow.
VSI Crushers
Three crushers (Puzzolona, Metso) of 200 and 300 TPH, producing aggregate for our own sites.
